Juliet J. Adkison
Her parents were David Oliver and Mary Johnson Adkison. Her father was a local Miner. She was born on May 12 1856 and Died of Typhoid fever on June 8th 1866 age 10 Years 28 Days.
Little more is known except her heart broken parents left Virginia City a few years later. Rest in Peace in your lonely little grave little one, Mommy & Daddy are now with you in heaven. Her younger brother Oliver 1861-62 is buried not to far from her.
The Attached photo of Little Juliet is Courtesy of the Wild West Museum in Virginia City NV (Now sadly closed) Who were kind enough to let me copy it for find a grave. It was taken in 1865 and has a 3 cent tax stamp on the back and was taken by Desmond & Sutterly, Photographers....Union Block Sor.B & Taylor Sts Vriginia City NV.
