CHARLES E. COOP (Oakdale) - A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Oakdale Memorial Chapel for Charles E. Coop, 90, who died Thursday in an Oakdale rest home after a long illness.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
A native of Washington, Mr. Coop was a World War I Army veteran and had lived in Oakdale since 1919. He was a self-employed farmer, a member of Oakdale Grange, Veterans of Foreign Wars and United Brethren Church.
Mr. Coop leaves three sons, Lester of Healdsburg and Charles D. Coop of Santee, and John Junior Holland of Indiana; four daughters, Arlene Austin of Ceres, Lilly Owens of Imperial Beach, Lillian Johnson of Kansas and Frances Bogen of Nevada; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
