John served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife June Berry; his daughter Kierstin Casella, and son-in-law Jeremy Casella. He is also survived by his four siblings, sister Jeanne Berry LaCount and her husband Lynn; brother Robert Berry and his wife Janet; sister Maryann Berry Dean; and brother Phil Michael. Other surviving relatives include his parents-in-law Judge and Mrs. Jimmie Duncan, sisters-in-law Cathy Duncan-Watts and Charla Duncan; and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Norton; four nieces and nephews Matthew and Shannon Berry, and Sierra and Freddy Watts; and his stepdaughter Laura Hanigan. He will be deeply missed by all of them.
