Ronald L. Eib, Sr., 73, Van Buren, finally went home to see his parents and sister, Carolyn, on Wednesday, April 29, 2009. He was born in Marion, Indiana to the late Roy and Lucille (Goodrich) Eib. He married Terrie Brewer. She survives.

Ronald retired from Marion Police Dept. in 1980 and was a member of the F.O.P. He raised foster kids for 15 + years and influenced hundreds of young adults. Ronald loved to play Santa Clause for the children's home in Marion. A familiar quote of Ron's was, "Charity starts at home". He loved helping people.
