Princess Elena Abkhazi's spouse was Prince Konstantine (Koty) Abkhazi (1867-1923) a hero of the Georgian independence movement and was executed by the Cheka in 1923. She and their son Nicolas (1899-1987, memorial 16503968) exiled themselves to France in 1919. The Abkhazis had a second son, Ilia, born Kardenaki, Russia (Georgia) in 1901. He did not survive childhood.
