CORNING, NY - William S. Dolley age 79 of 74 Griffith St, died Saturday, Jan 7, 2006 at The Waters At Three Rivers in Gang Mills.

He was born Oct 21, 1926, in Corning the son of Benjamin and Helen Stenger Dolley. He married Barbara Ketchum on May 17 1958 in Corning.

William served in the US Army during WWII and the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Crystal City CFW, Corning Moose and the Masons.
He was a retired gaffer from Corning, Inc. having over 50 years of active and inactive service. He loved old western movies.

Survived by his wife, Barbara Dolley; a son Gary (Margaret Stanley) Dolley of MA; two daughters, Lisa (Charles) Kluchonic of TX, Pamela (Greg) Duke of PA; four brothers, Francis, O. Thomas, Evan, Joseph Dolley all of Corning; three sisters Helen Bishop, Bessie Holmes, Emma West all of Corning; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Benjamin Dolley.

Family and freinds are invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan 11, 2006 from 1-3pm where a funeral service will be held at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff McDowell officiating.

Burial will be in Coopers Cemetery, Coopers Plains, NY
