Samuel J Hosmer b. 11 Jul 1783 in Concord MA d. 2 Jul 1871 in Brookwood AL In 1819 Samuel and his wife Sukey migrated to Alabama with six of their children.

Susanna (Sukey) Farnham Hosmer was the daughter of Samuel and Dorcas Bragg Farnham.

Hosmer, Samuel, s. Abel and Lucy, July 11, 1783.

Samuel's wife was Susan "Sukey" Farnum. He served in the War of 1812. His father, Abel Hosmer, and grandfather, Josiah Hosmer, served in the American Revolution War, as did Sukey's father.
