COTTONDALE | Lois Dean Cooley, age 71, 07 Jul 1935 of Cottondale, died Jan. 5, 2007, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Memory Hill Gardens.
Her husband, Ralph C. Cooley, father, Rev. Jack Oliver Eaton, mother, Mary Dell Eaton, and sister, Mildred Davis Battles, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a special friend, Gregory D. Barger of Coaling; daughters, Kellie Murphy-Walker (Bill) of Coaling and Toni Leigh Stone of Coaling and friend, Mike Rife; sons, Terry R. Cooley of Coaling, Jeff W. Cooley (Margie) of Vance, and Darrell Barger (Angie) of Coaling; sister, Mary Helen Battles of Vance; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Other survivors are all members of Dean's family including ex-spouses and all friends and relatives of Dean's.
