ASBURY FRY
---Asbury Fry died at his home in the east part of La Plata, Missouri, August 28, 1905 at 11:30 a.m., aged eighty-one years. He had been in poor health for a long time, and while his death was regretted by all, it was not unexpected.
---He leaves a wife and two sons and other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
---Rev. R.E. Skinner conducted a song and prayer service at the home Tuesday afternoon and the remains, escorted by the local G.A.R., were interred in the La Plata cemetery.
Apparently Asbury H. Fry was married twice. His first wife was thought to be Rebeckah Severs and they had one son, James V. Fry. Asbury H. Fry married his second wife, Elizabeth C. Sears, on January 22/23, 1848 and they had one son William Thomas Fry.
