JOHNSON, NATASHA "TASHA" died Sunday, May 22, 1994, at 7:20 p.m. at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 18, a native of Abbeville and resident of Zachary. She was a Zachary High School 1993 honors graduate and a freshman student at Louisiana State Universary . . . . She was cremated at Lafayette Crematory on Monday. Survived by parents, Danny and Cathy Johnson, Zachary; maternal grandparents, Dave and Louise Landry, Erath; maternal great-grandfather, Andrew Colomb, Erath; paternal grandparents, Bob and Beth Johnson, Baton Rouge; and paternal great-grandfather, Harry M. Johnson, Pontiac, Ill.

An article from the Advocate Newspaper reported that Natasha died as a result of a car-truck collision. The pickup in which she was riding struck a car and flipped several times. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the crash.

Interment occurred at a later date at the Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana. Her paternal grandparents , Robert and Elizabeth Johnson are also both at Azalea Rest Cemetery.
