Funeral services for Donald M. Jensen, 77, of New Albany, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a former carpenter for the Kimes Construction Company and retired from the Mook Construction Company. He was a member of the New Albany Fraternal Order of Police, a former Boy Scout Leader and Little League Coach and he enjoyed spending time on his farm in Orange County.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Edyth L. Tuell Jensen; a son, Stanley Keith Jensen Sr. and his wife, Sharon, New Albany; two daughters, Judy M. Cozine and her husband, Lillard, New Albany and Janet L. Burkhart and her husband, Dallas, New Albany; a brother, Louis S. Jensen and his wife, Pat, New Albany; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Laura Wolf Jensen.
