Son of Gloria Maria Carter, aka Gloria Rodriguez and Timothy James Carter and grandson of Aurora Rodriguez. His father survived Jonestown by being sent on a final errand by Rev. James Warren Jones. His father held his common-law wife, Gloria, in his hands as she died and laid beside their son. Tim had every intention of taking his own life after completing the mission but was prevented. He is one of only six survivors of Jonestown.
