Susan Harriet (Harriet Susan?) Crist was born in Rose township, Carroll County Ohio, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Riggle, Isabella County Michigan. At the age of eight years she moved with her family to Williams Co. Ohio, where two years later her mother died. She was married November 26, 1865 to Jacob Disbrow at the home of John Kent, Florence Twp., Williams Co. Ohio. She was a long-time member of the Christian Union church located at the hamlet of Berlin in Williams Co. Ohio. Although her obituary states she was the mother of eleven children, only ten have been identified.
