Mary Lee Crist of Battle Creek, 66, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born August 24, 1944 in Homer, Michigan the daughter of Roy James Crist and Mary Goldwyn (Larder) Cole. She was a graduate of Litchfield High School in Litchfield, Michigan, and worked for 30 years at Riverside Screw Machine Products in Battle Creek. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, John McKim. She is survived by her brothers, Floyd James Crist, and Lewis Michael (Sara) McKim; sister, Jenny Lynn (Paul) Potter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and special friend Glenna Carol (Bob) Wilson. Mary enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and writing her own songs, crocheting prayer shawls and afghans for loved ones, and in recent years she made her own jewelry. Cremation has taken place and at Mary's request there will be no memorial service. Arrangements are by the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. www.farleyestesdowdle.com .
