William R. "Bill" Hailey, III, 70, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, in Biloxi. He was born in Selmer, TN on September 15, 1934 and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1972. He proudly served in the USAF, was a Vietnam Veteran, and retired from KAFB in 1976. He was the Director of the Cardiovascular and Neurology Department at Gulf Coast Medical Center, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Biloxi Yacht Club, American Legion Post #33 Biloxi and a life member of the National Rifle Association.

Mr. Hailey was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Hailey, II and Margaret Hailey.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Frances Hailey; his two daughters, Joni Hailey of Pensacola, FL and Julie McAtee Coleman of Biloxi; his son, Rob Hailey and his wife Donna of Biloxi; his sister, Kate Brantley of El Dorado, AR; six grandchildren, Jennifer Untershine, Melissa Collins, Austin and Matthew McAtee, and Tyler and Kyle Hailey; and a great-granddaughter, Jadyn Haines.

The Service will be held at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, Biloxi, MS. on Friday, June 17, 2005, 10:15 am, where friends may visit from 9:00 am until the service.

Burial will follow at 11:00 am in Biloxi National Cemetery.
