Spinster, born at Kingswinford, Staffordshire, England, she was the third child and first daughter of Elizabeth (Radcliff) and John Badley of Townsend. She lived in Dudley. John Wesley often would stay with her on his visits there. She was bequeathed one fifth of her brother Edward's estate and received £50 from the estate of her father. Little more is known of her life except that she was laid to rest at the family seat in Kingswinford. (bio by: David McJonathan-Swarm)

*the quotations are all taken from a handwritten copy made at Grasmere, (Westmoreland) Cumbria, England by Louise MacArthur of "Reminiscences of The Badleys" written by cousin Mary, the eldest daughter of Dr. James Payton Badley when she interviewed Uncle Henry, her father's brother, at Insetton and from MEMORIES AND REFLECTIONS by J. H. Badley; London: George Allen & Unwin, 1955.
