The wife of Paul E. Decker, they married Octomber 2,1959, in Gettysburg, Adams County, PA. She was the daughter of the late H. Wallace Craig and Grace Duffield.



Mrs. Louisa C. (Craig) Decker, 84, a guest of Menno Haven Nursing Home, Chambersburg and of The Hoover House 227 W. Main St. Waynesboro died at 3:16 A.M. Sunday April 21, 2002 in the nursing home.
Born November 26, 1917 in Welsh Run, Franklin County, PA she was the daughter of the late H. Wallace and Grace (Duffield) Craig. She lived her early years in Welsh Run, PA moving to Waynesboro in 1920.
Mrs. Decker graduated from the Waynesboro High School with the class of 1937. Following high school she attended beauty school in Harrisburg and received her beautician license.
She and her husband, the late Paul E. Decker, were married October 2, 1959 in Gettysburg, PA. They had lived at 309 Barnett St. Waynesboro from 1968 until she entered the Hoover House in 1997. Mr. Decker died July 29, 1978.
Mrs. Decker was a beautician in her early years. She worked as a teachers' aide in the Waynesboro Schools in her later years retiring in 1973.
She was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #731 Ladies Auxilary, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1191 Ladies Auxilary, Joe Stickell American Legion Post # 15 Ladies Auxilary and the AARP South Chapter # 2977, all of Waynesboro.
She is survived by one step-son, P. Eugene Decker, Jr. Centerville, VA; one step-grandchild; two nieces Martha R. Miraglia, Camp Hill, PA, Susan B. Bottini, Mechanicsburg, PA; and two nephews William E. Bitner, III, Hershey, PA, W. Craig Bitner, Camp Hill, PA.
She is preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Craig Bitner, Isabelle Craig Bates and Virginia Craig Murray; two brothers, one as an infant and Watson Duffield Craig.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 24, 2002 in the Green Hill Cemetery 953 S. Potomac St. Waynesboro with the Rev. C. Albert Guyer officiating.
There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
The Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
