Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the local chapter of the March of Dimes.
Mr. Fox was born March 6, 1932, in Rock Island. He married Helen Louise Musser May 22, 1955, in Taylor Ridge.
Rock Island Fire Department member from 1 Jun 1956 - 14 Apr 1982. He then worked as a warehouse man for Lerch and Thonn, Rock Island, for 20 years.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, stationed in Japan.
Survivors include the widow; daughters, Brenda Sand, Rapids City, and Linda Good, Great Lakes, Ill.; sons, Robert, Silvis; Charles, Moline; and Edward, Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; his father, Samuel Fox, Milan; and a sister, Arlene Hampton, Bettendorf.
