Monty D. Kishbaugh, 60, of Nescopeck Township, died Saturday in the emergency room at the Berwick Hospital Center, after being stricken ill at his home.
Born Sept. 29, 1938, in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late William and Lois Leiby Kishbaugh.
He graduated from the former Scott High School in 1956. He took courses at Wilkes College.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 until 1957.
He was employed at U.S. Radium. He later worked for the former Bercon Packaging. He was a sales representative with the former Union Paper and Supply, Wilkes-Barre. He was last employed by USR Metals. He retired due to failing health.
He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nescopeck Township; the Berwick Elks Lodge; and a life member of the Ranger Hose Company, Berwick.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, the former Yvonne F. "Bonnie" Pettit; daughters, Bobbi Jo Knorr and Beth A. Alba, both of Berwick; two grandsons; and three step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Nescopeck Township, with the Rev. Jeffrey Odgren, his pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of the church or to the Arthritis Foundation.
