Edward Matthew White, 68, a long time resident of Allentown, Hanover Township, Pa. passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 19, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nev. Born in Fullerton to the late Joseph and Mildred (Dreisbach) White, he was the husband of Betty (Stahley) White for nearly 21 years. They married on October 15, 1988. Edward was a faithful retiree of Pet Foods (General Mills) for numerous years.
Survivors: Wife, Betty a resident of Hanover Township, Allentown; step-daughter, Terri M. (Stahley) Hammel; step-daughter, Cindy B. (Stahley) McMahon and her husband, Richard A. McMahon, of Lindenhurst, Ill.; step-daughter Candi L. (Stahley) Smith and her husband, Jeffrey W. Smith, of Kingwood, Tex.; step-daughter, Sandi L. (Stahley) Giove and her husband, Stephen Giove, of Alburtis, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews that he held very dear to his heart; brothers, Frances, John, Richard, Charles; sisters Linda Kugler, Marie Miller, Barbara White, and Sharon Savickus. He was predeceased by his sister, Judith McClaine.
