Kenneth Lasoski, 75, of Mountain Top passed away Sunday in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center following a courageous batle with cancer.
He was a son of the late Chester and Ruth (Gommer) Lasoski.
He was a Wright Township police officer and a member of the Wright township fire Company. Kenneth also ran for the local constable office. Most recently he worked as the director of operations for URS and then with the Pat Curly Detective Agency.
He loved to travel and enjoy camping at Lake Wallenpaupack and sitting in the sun no matter the season. Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who knew him, including his dog, Cheech.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his brother, Donald.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lydia "Pat" Morgan; eight children; a brother; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.
Interment will follow in Albert Cemetery.
