Robert H. Kishbaugh, 87, of Berwick passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born June 26, 1928, in Berwick, a son to the late Victor and Ruth (Jacobs) Kishbaugh.

Bob taught science at Berwick Junior High School and Middle School for 35½ years before retiring in 1987. He loved doing yard work, going on cruises, and reading books. He also worked as the timekeeper for Berwick athletic events. Spending time with his family, however, was the most important thing in Bob’s life.

He was a member of Bower Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving Bob is the love of his life, the former Alba Waltman, to whom he was happily married for 63½ years. Also surviving are two daughters: Rebecca DiPasquale of Philadelphia, and Jean Candeias and husband, Manuel, of New York; three grandchildren: Matthew Candeias of Illinois; Elizabeth Candeias of Florida, and Andrea Rocha and her husband, Jonathon of Indiana; two great-grandchildren: Gabriel and Lilliana Rocha of Indiana; sister: Joanne Brown and husband, Marvin, of Berwick; and nephew: Jan Hoida and wife, Mary, of Berwick.

A memorial service will held at a future date.
