Isaac Morton Combs, 65, died of a heart attack at 7:55 Tuesday evening,
Feb. 16, at his home in Campton. He was a member of the Baptist Church
and a veteran of World War I and a former commander of the American
Legion Post here.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Jane Combs, Campton, a daughter, Mrs.
Amelia Pocahontas Martin, Winchester, two sisters, Mrs. Irene Thompson
and Mrs. Bell Thompson, both of Lexington; one granddaughter, Linda Kay
Combs, Campton.
Services were conducted at the Baptist church Friday afternoon with
Rev. Sewell Woodward officiating. Burial was in the Evans cemetery with
arrangements in charge of B.F. Porter and Son Funeral Home
