John Pickelhaupt

Port Huron- John Pickelhaupt, 66, of North Blvd., died Saturday, in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. He was born Aug. 9, 1909, in Baskakovka, Russia, and lived her the last 63 years. He retired from Prestolite Corporation in 1972, after 25 years. He and June R. Warner were married June 10, 1932 in Port Huron. He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Betty) Landschoot, Mrs. William (Sue) Atkinson, Mrs. Richard (Edith) Hamilton, and Mrs. Edward (Judy) Lamb, all of Port Huron, three sons, Mark B. Pickelhaupt with the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, Wash., and John C. and Emil C. Pickelhaupt, of Port Huron, two brothers Christian and Charles Pickelhaupt, of Port Huron, a sister Mrs. Lloyd (Edith) Kleinstiver, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and 28 grandchildren. The remains will be in the Pollock Randall Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The Rev. William C. Eisenmann, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church, will officiate. Raymond J. Landschoot, Randolph Hills, Frank P. Landschoot, William R. Atkinson, William Atkinson Jr., and Richard Hamilton will be pallbearers. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials maybe made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
