W. Stewart Sellers, 91, of Jeffersonville, passed February 22, 2011 at Rolling Hills Healthcare. Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel on Friday from 3 to 8 PM and at Wall Street United Methodist Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM. The funeral service will be held at Wall Street United Methodist Church on Thursday at 11 AM, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery.

He was born in Sellersburg, a retired printer for the Courier Journal, a member of Wall Street United Methodist Church and the International Typographical Union Local 10 in Louisville. He also sang with the Louisville Philharmonic Chorus and was a Navy veteran of World War II.Survivors include his loving wife, Heidi Sellers, of Jeffersonville; children, Warren S. Sellers and his wife, Susan, of Floyds Knobs, Bill K. Sellers and his wife, Julie, of Sellersburg, Mildred Ann Vernia and her husband, Charlie, of New Albany, and Stephen J. Sellers, and his wife, Laura, of Charlestown; grandchildren, Andrea Morris, Katherine Sellers, Kent Sellers, Joel Sellers, Charlie Vernia, Jim Vernia, Emma Sellers, Grace Sellers and Clara Sellers; and four great-grandchildren.
