Mrs. Esther M. Hadfield, widow of George Hadfield, formerly of this city, passed away at the home of her son, Dr. Harry Hadfield, of Chicago, Tuesday, at the age of 68. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Harry, Chicago, and Ray of Superior; by one sister, Mrs. Annie Hadfield, of Daytona, Fla. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church in this city. Interment at Prairie Home cemetery.
Mrs. Hadfield was a daughter of T. D. Cook who was an early pioneer of Waukesha.
