Age 64. Spent her early childhood in New York City, before moving back to Milwaukee. She attended St. Catherine's School, graduating in 1961, St. Joan Antida High School graduating in 1965, and Marquette University, graduating with a degree in English in 1969. She worked for the Daily Reporter in Milwaukee and formed her own agency with Allstate Insurance Company in 1988. She was an active committee member at the Prince of Peace Catholic Parish and involved in several charities, such as the Valley of the Kings Sanctuary, ASPCA, and Happy Endings No-Kill Cat Shelter. She loved the Milwaukee Rep, Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Symphony, and the Skylight Opera Theatre. Her devotion to the arts and her cats was apparent. She also loved going to water aerobics at Pulaski Pool. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, and hosting parties for family and friends. Jeane was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Jane (nee Stollenwerk) Arendt. She is survived by her brothers, Bruce Arendt (daughter Nicole), Jeff Arendt, Dennis Arendt (wife Tammy), children Charles and Mandy (Good) and her cats, Mia Isabella and Toby.
