She enjoyed music, writing poems, photography, fishing and riding 4-wheelers. She had resided in Warren for the past year and had formerly lived in Montpelier. She had formerly attended the First Baptist Church in Montpelier.
She was the daughter of David D. Ervin of Warren,IN and Glenna R. (Snyder) Ervin. of Anchorage, Alaska.
Survivors include Father-David D. Ervin of Warren, Ind., Mother-Glenna R. Ervin (fiancee, Tim Lewis) of Anchorage, Alaska, Paternal Grandmother-Mary Ervin of Bluffton, Ind. Grandmother-Betty Frazier of Anderson, Ind. and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandfather-John Ervin, Maternal Grandparents-Glenn and Mary Snyder and her Brother-Justin Michael Ervin.
Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 West Windsor Street, Montpelier, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2009. Funeral service will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier, Ind.

Note: Carrie's best friend was her brother, Justin. Justin died July 7, 2007. Carrie lived in constant agony after her brother died. Carrie died Thanksgiving Day 2009 of an accidental drug overdose. Just two days after what would have been her brother's 22nd birthday. We love you Carrie.
