OBITUARY OF MY BELOVED STEPMOTHER-CAROLYN

Carolyn Ann Fields McKinney was born in 1946 in San Francisco, California to the proud parentage, of the late Artis and Pearline Fields. Carolyn found peace Thursday morning 1992 after enduring a relatively short illness in Richmond, California.

When Carolyn was a child, the family had moved to Los Angeles, CA. There, she began her education and united with Harmony Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles. After completing her education in Los Angeles, Carolyn moved back to San Francisco. She met, and eventually married, Richard McKinney. She united with his children and he united with her child. From their marriage, one child was born.

Carolyn had a profound love of children and children loved her. She always shared a positive view of life with everyone she met. She was also willing to give a helping hand where and whenever it was needed.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her husband, Richard McKinney, her children, and grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road.
And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take.
And each must go alone
it's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home.

If when you are lonely and sick of heart.
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go.
