He is memorialized on standing family monument and also on a toppled soldier's marker inscribed veteran of First NY Mounted Rifles, Co. K. Henry was the husband of Electa E. Wager. They were the parents of Adelaide Crouch (1854-?, married Hiram FINCH, no issue) and Mary Crouch (circa 1855-dy). Henry's occupation was harnessmaker. In February of 1865 when the will of Electa's cousin, Michael A. Francisco, was being probated, the Crouches were listed as living in Blood's Corners, Steuben Co., NY. The 1870 Michigan Census lists Henry, 48 years old, as a veteran of First NY Mounted Rifles, Co. K. On both the 1870 Michigan Census and the 1890 Veterans Census Michigan Census, Henry and Electa were living with Joseph and Mary Crouch in Jackson, Jackson Co., MI. Henry was a son of Joseph and Freelove (GREEN) Crouch. Henry died of heart disease at the age of 83.
