Port Huron- Norvel E. Dickinson, 51, of 1216 12th Ave., died in his home Thursday after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 21, 1924 in Purcell, Okla., and was a lifelong area resident. He was a tool and die maker with Blue Water Engineering until its closing. He was a Veteran of World War II. He married Edna M. Stienhurst, Sept. 17, 1949 in Port Huron. He is survived by his wife; four sons, Thomas E., Kemmeth C., Charles A., and Gary L. Dickinson; four daughters, Mrs. James (Marsha) Fayed, Mrs. Glenn (Sandra) Falk, Mrs. Mark (Sharon) Candea, and Gail Dickinson; three brothers, Vernon F., Orvel M., and Raymond Dickinson, two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Radatz, and Mrs. Donald (Joanne) Arnold, and eight grandchildren, all of Port Huron. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home- North Chapel. The Rev. William C. Eisenmann of St. Paul`s American Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Allied Veterans Cemetery. Raymond, Vern, and Terry Dickinson, and Richard, Robert, and Ronald Radatz will be pallbearers.
