Raymond L. Dickinson, 55, of Beers St., Port Huron. Died Monday April 21, 1986. He was the son of Vernon and Nancy Dickinson on August 6, 1939 in Port Huron, MI. He was a US Marine Corp officer and was a prisoner of the Koren War. He loved his military years and always talked about being a Marine. Once a Marine ~ always a Marine.
He married Maxine Joyce Kelley in Port Huron in .
He is survived by his Wife, Maxine and 3 children, Raymond (Mary Ann) Dickinson of Lakeport, Mark Dickinson of Port Huron and Roxanne (Robert) Krauss of North Lakeport. Also surviving is his 3 grandchildren, who he adored .. Adam (Pal) Dickinson, Mellissa (Sunshine) Dickinson, both of Lakeport & Nicholas Krauss, of North Lakeport.
Raymond was a cement truck driver, worked at Prestolite and in his later years, was manager of the Lakeport State Park Grocery Store.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at Jowett Funeral Home at 11:00 and will be officiated by the Rev. Jeffery A. Heron, Pastor of North Lakeport Wesleyan Church. Visiting hours are 7-9 p.m. today.
Interment will be in the Allied Veterans Cemetery.
Pall Bearers will be: Fred Kelley (brother in law), Paul Kelley (brother-in-law), David Kelley (nephew), Vernon J. Arnold (nephew), Floyd Bills (nephew) and Vernon Dickinson 11 (nephew). Honorary Pallbearers will be: Fred Warren & Ed DeFour.
Raymond was a true friend to all and will be sadly missed by many.
