Passed away surrounded by loved ones at the age of 85. Loving husband of Shirley (nee Richards). Beloved father to Sharla (Gilles) Fouquet, Suzette Emmer, Stacey (Marty) Henne, Cindy (Milan) Maksimovic and Curt (Holly) Emmer. Grandfather to Raymie (Bee) Grundhoefer, Xander Emmer, Jenny (Tom) Barbian, Mandie (Brad) Jeske, Marisa (Michael) and Marcus (Hannah) Maksimovic. Great-grandfather to Gavin Barbian, Camden and Easton Jeske. Further survived by his brother, Harvey (Alice), sister-in-law, Elaine Emmer, and a large loving family. He will be missed by his cats, Patches and Zoe and many more four-legged friends. Robert was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War and a retiree of Bucyrus Erie. As dad would say, "We'll keep the light on for you."
