Frances V. Gorewich, formally of Courtdale, passed away Thursday at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Luzerne, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Victoria Skrabut Gorewich. She attended Luzerne High School. Prior to her retirement, she was a supervisor for American Tobacco of Mountain Top. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. She was preceded in death by brother, Edward Gorewich and wife, Margaret. Surviving is her sister, Marjorie Baldovsky and husband, John of Courtdale; companion John Frohman of Swoyersville; nephews, William, John Norman, James and niece Mary Ruger; two grand-nieces; six grand-nephews; and five great-grand-nephews. -- The Times Leader
