Lois Faye (Stephens) Adkins, 69, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died November 12, 1992. Lois was born May 18, 1923, to Willard and Southie Stephens in Argonia, Kansas. Lois married Don L. Adkins August 25, 1946, and to this blessed union three sons were born: Stephen, Gerald & Curtis. Lois graduated from Enid General Hospital School of Nursing as an R.N. in 1944. She retired from Mercy Health Center in 1982 with 15 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, her husband, Don, and one granddaughter. Survivors include her children: Stephen and Margaret of Olathe, KS, Gerald and Lea Ann of Tulsa, and Curtis and Syvella of OKC; her grandchildren Kim, Brian and Emily of Olathe, Lauren and Thomas of Tulsa, and Brandon of OKC; one sister Laveta Moyer of Partridge, KS, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 16th in the Linwood United Methodist Church where Lois was a longtime, active member of the Builders Class.
