Sweet Brianna was admitted to Childrens' Hospital and was later diagnosed with hemolytic uremic syndrome, or HUS, a complication of the e.coli 0157:H7 bacteria that attacks red blood cells and often causes kidney failure. Brianna's younger brother, Chad, also showed flu-like symptoms but did not require a trip to the hospital.
Brianna's loving mother joined her and Haley on February 19, 2006.
