He was the son of the late William B. and Leoma Harley Sanford. He was loved by his family and will be missed by his siblings, nieces, and nephews. Our stories of him will live on.

Survivors include two sisters, Jean (George) Herron of Cordova and Shirley Sanford Hammond of Lexington; one brother, William Sanford, Jr. of Oklahoma; a special nephew, Chester Sanford of North; and a number of nieces and nephews.
