On Monday, September 29, 2014 the family of Kevin Lee Haubert will celebrate the life of a loving Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Great Uncle. The youngest child of Walter J. and Joyce (Hawk) Haubert,

Kevin was married to Becky (Boulee) Haubert on April 3, 1999. Father to 4 children: Serenity Myers of Burgoon, OH from his first relationship with Mahriya Myers Karr, and 3 children from his current marriage; Grace, Gabe, and Xavier, Glendale AZ.

After graduating from Lakota High School in 1997, Kevin served in the US Army from January 3, 2000 – April 5, 2005 and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Following his service, Kevin went on to work for Garner Transportation Group in Findlay, OH before moving to AZ in 2012 and at Native Resources International in Phoenix, AZ

Kevin was known for many things including his contagious laughter, quick wit, and larger than life personality. An avid outdoorsman, he often spent his free time hunting, fishing and riding his Harley.

Kevin enjoyed grilling and making his famous jalapeno salsa that was too hot for anyone to eat and then laughing at them.

Brother to Nancy (Robert) Gosche Katy, TX, Mary (Kurt) Brewer Risingsun, OH, Danny (Mitzi) Haubert Fremont, OH and Laurie Walkup Houston, TX. Kevin is proceeded in death by mother Joyce, niece Lesa Gosche and grandparents Walter Sr. & Rosella (Butzier) Haubert, Harry Sr. & Augusta (Smiley) Hawk.

So many were touched by Kevin, in celebration of such a wonderful gift from God, a toast of Jack Daniels (his favorite) will be held in his honor. Feel free to raise a glass to someone who tried to make everyone laugh.

In his honor, the family asks for those wishing to donate in his name to direct it to “Soldiers Best Friend”. The family’s goal being to pay for at least 1 dog’s training that will assist a soldier with PTSD in memory of Kevin Haubert. http://soldiersbestfriend.org/
