Passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. Jennie was born February 25, 1942 in Muldrow, OK, the daughter of Herman and Naomi Laudenslager and lived in the Comstock and Portage area most of her life. She worked for the Upjohn and Pharmacia Company for 32 years before retiring in 1997.

On April 1, 1983, she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 30 years, Larry E. Halbert, who survives. Jennie enjoyed her daughters and two granddaughters so very much. Surviving, God gave her the most precious, beautiful, loving and caring daughters a mother could ever ask for, Jodi L. Pio and Traci L. Bruner (Mike Kuis). They gave her the most beautiful and loving granddaughters, Alicia M. Pio and Andrea Bruner, all of Portage. Also surviving is a sister, Trudy Laudenslager (Richard Nardone); brothers-in-law, Garry (Roberta) Halbert of Portage, Gene (Joyce) Halbert of Rockford; and several nieces and nephews.
