He remarried in 1905 to Cora Lee Lowden who unfortunately died in 1910. That same year he moved to Memphis. In 1920 he married Mary Allie Payne Fleming, a widow, from Tipton County, Tennessee. They remained in Memphis for the remainder of their lives.
