Pauline Melissa Barbour, 47, born June 8, 1963, departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2011 in the comfort of the home of her brother, Richard Barbour and wife, Dorothy Barbour, Troy, VA. At a young age she joined Bright Hope Baptist Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She graduated from Louisa High School and moved to Arizona to further her education in college. She received her RN license as a nurse.

Pauline was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mrs. Mary E. Sims and Mrs Gladys V. Barbour and her brother, Mr. Francis Roosevelt Barbour.

Pauline leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Mrs. Mary E. Barbour; one daughter, Patrice Barbour; four brothers, Carl Barbour (Gale) of Kearneyville, WV, Cecil Barbour (Betty) of Washington, DC, Richard Barbour (Dorothy) of Troy, VA and Paul Barbour of Pennsylvania, PA; two sisters, Gladys Barbour of Charlottesville, VA, and Carlotta Barbour of Raleigh, NC; an uncle, Charles Easton (Anita) of Maryland; special friend, Mrs. Leanna Wentworth and a hosts of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Bright Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Alonzo Minor officiating. At the wishes of Pauline, her body was cremated.
