Theron F. Beck passed away on October 31st, 2009 in St. George Utah. He was born on January 25, 1923 in Heber, Utah to Stephen F. Beck and Maggie Orr Beck. Theron graduated from American ForkHigh School in 1941, and attended BYU until he joined the US Army Air Force. He served in the 1st Bomb Group as a ball turret gunner. He flew 30 missions over France and Germany between 1942 and 1945. In 1945, Theron married Fay E. Nicholes in Denver, Colorado. Although Theron and Fay started their married life in Cottonwood, Utah, they spent much of their lives together in Idaho, then retired to St. George, Utah. Theron served many years in the Scouting program and was awarded the Silver Beaver. He loved his children and adored grandchildren. He enjoyed classical music and BYU football. Theron also loved the LDS church and serving others in his callings. He is survived by his loving wife, Fay; and his children: Lynn N. Beck (Linda), Ferrell Theron Beck (Ann), Robert K. Beck (Beverly), Charles W. Beck (Karen), Tina Beck Hansen (Michael), and Kent V. Beck. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Viewings will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. at the Telegraph Street Chapel in Washington, Utah, and Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork, Utah.
