Chicago native, navy veteran (1975-1979) where he served in the Pacific Fleet aboard the USS Dubuque (LPD-8) as an airman on the flight deck and later at NAS Moffett Field as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician. In July 1979 he received his Honorable Discharge having attained the rank of AS3. He then returned to Chicago. Following the navy he worked as a handyman for a local real estate firm on the South Side of Chicago working rehabbing homes.

He was predeceased by an older brother. He was survived by his parents, 2 sisters, and a brother.

David A. Robson, 38, died Saturday in Hines Veterans Hospital in Maywood. A Chicago native, Mr. Robson served in the Navy from 1974 to 1979. For the last nine years, Mr. Robson lived in Summit, where he was a plumber. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Gertrude; two sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Tuesday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Barnabas Church, 10134 S. Longwood Drive.
