Midshipman. He graduated from the Marine Corps. He studied at the Naval Academy in Vladivostok. He took part in the Civil War. In 1920 he tought in the Marine Corps in Sebastopol, and was later evacuated with the Navy to Bizerte (Tunisia). He served as chief of the watch on a service vessel. He moved to Paris, and in 1924 he became a member of the wardroom. He was a member of the militant organization of A.P. Kutepov. Four times he was on combat missions in the USSR. He took part in the Second World War on the Eastern Front. After the war, he went to Argentina.
