Surviving are his wife, Alice; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Ypma of Bozeman, Montana; two sons, Professor William Frankena of Ann Arbor and August Frankena of Haddonfield, New Jersey; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother, Johannes in The Netherlands.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 in the First Christian Reformed church. Relatives will meet in the church basement at 1:45, Rev. William Kok officiating. Burial in Graafschap cemetery. Mr. Frankena reposes at the Ynterna Funeral Home where relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
