Mr. DeVolve, born December 14, 1908, at Fox Lake, Wisconsin, died Tuesday at St. Brendan's Nursing Home.
He came to Spokane in 1957 and was a custodian at Wilson Elementary School and Lewis and Clark High School for 17 years before retiring in 1978. He was a member of Spokane Moose Lodge 161.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth, at the home; one son, Larry DeVolve of Cornell, Wisconsin; one daughter; Betty DeVolve of Spokane; two brothers, Elmer DeVolve of Seattle, WA, Kenneth DeVolve of Spokane; two sisters, Agnes Newcomb and Margaret Mosher, both of Spokane; nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
