Levi Clinton Goss was born July 16, 1881 in Jefferson, North Carolina, the 7th child of William and Amanda (Graybeal) Goss. He was married to Edith. Clinton died in March of 1918 from complications from an accident involving a horse.

Obit: Clinton Goss, Uintah railroad fireman, passed away at the Fruita Hospital Friday night following an operation. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Fruita. Rev. McDowell preached the sermon. A profusion of beautiful flowers showed the sympathy of many friends. The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs attended in a body. Interment was at Elmwood. The Odd Fellows were in full charge of the service.
