Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church there with the Rev. Richard Sutterlin officiating. Burial will be in Park View Gardens, Livingston. Franzen-Davis-Benee Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Pavey was born Nov. 6, 1895, in Fruita, Colo., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Pavey. The family moved when he was a child to Wyoming and later in 1909, they moved to a ranch at 16-mile in Gallatin County.
Pavey married Mabel Myers November 18, 1916, in Bozeman. They made their homes in Gallatin County where he was employed on the Milwaukee Railroad.
In 1929, the family moved to Livingston where he had lived since. He was employed as a mechanic at Devault Motors for four years. He went to work in 1933 for McLaughlin Construction Co. as an operating engineer. His retirement came in 1963.
Survivors are his wife, Mabel, Livingston; two sons, Cecil and Arnold, Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Buettner, Texarkana, and Mrs. Ellen Dredberg, Livingston; a brother, James, Helena; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Biggs, Belgrade, Mrs. Myrtle Verwolf, Manhattan, and Mrs. Bertha Hinshaw, Mobridge, S.D., 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
