She married Dennis F. Jones in Livingston on Aug. 26, 1946. They made their home in the Bozeman area and raised two children.
In 1981, she moved to Oregon. She loved the coast and the friendly people of Brookings. She was one avid fisherwoman, and was a partner in the ownership of an ocean pleasure boat named "Sweet Pea." She had many friends in the fishing circle. She had a great sense of humor and was a down-to-earth person. She was a firm believer in God and prayer.
She returned to Bozeman in 2007 to be closer to her family, whom she loved dearly. Her best friend and fishing partner, Salty St. Clair, passed away in 2007.
She is survived by a daughter, Denise Frank (David Jones) of Bozeman; son, Daryl (aka Buzz) (Patti) Jones of Bozeman; four grandchildren, Charity (Rod) McCullough of Bozeman, Jared (Dusty) Jones of Bozeman, Jackie Jones (Coby Ritchins) of Bozeman and Brandon (Kendra) Arts of Belle Plains, Minn.; four great-grandchildren, Sahara Rose Jones of Bozeman, Joseph Vandenbos of Kalispell, Mickaela Cochran of Bozeman and Raja, Erika, and Matthew Arts of Belle Plains, Minn.; two half sisters, Wilma Staat of Belgrade and Donna Burns of Marysville, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Dennis; a sister, Lena Sievert; brother, Alvin (A.P.) Callatine; and two half brothers, Wayne and Francis (Sonny) Callantine.
Private graveside services will be held at Morgan Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. King and Dr. Moran, Rocky Mountain Hospice, Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service and her many friends in Bozeman and Brookings, Ore.
If friends desire, memorials may be made to the choice of the donor. Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral service.
