"John Graham, of VA, and his wife
Mary, a native of Pennsylvania, met in Kentucky, where they were married. In
1802-3 they came to this township, and settled on the Xenia road, two miles
south of Yellow Springs. Graham died in this county; his wife in Illinois,
whither she had removed, and lived with her youngest son. A daughter, Anna, born
in 1804 is yet living in Yellow Springs, the relict of the late Daniel
Pennell."
